Hollow vessel
This piece introduces a new direction in my work.
She is the piece I didn’t know I was missing.
Emerging from a simple, almost traditional form, she was built in two parts and later assembled. Motifs drawn from earlier studies are reorganized and engraved into a continuous composition.
The process was both calming and demanding. Working by hand, shaping symmetry through patience, I learned how time sharpens the eye.
In that space, the urge for perfection fades, leaving room for the traces that make each piece truly unique.
This vase was a challenge: to create a form that never settles, that reveals something new from every angle.
